Why go for counselling?
Everyone can benefit from engaging in counselling. Life is constantly changing and can at times be challenging and difficult. It can deplete our resources and leave us feeling distressed and unable to cope. By engaging in counselling you can identify internal resources to help make choices which will lead to a more satisfying life. I offer a facilitative and confidential environment in which to explore issues and struggles.
My experience as a psychotherapist has been informed by a wide range of theoretical and experiential training. At the core of my work with clients I use a psychodynamic, person-centred approach. I draw from different therapeutic approaches and use whichever is most suitable for the individual. I relate to clients by responding to each individual as a whole person i.e. mind and body. I am a pre-accredited Psychotherapist working in counselling field since 2006. I work mainly with adults and cover a variety of issues.
